
THE SHAOLIN TEMPLE HANDBOOK
( I ) Admission into the guild
- Only [shaolin] ranked players can recruit disciples.
- To enter as a rank above disciple, you must test for that rank. No exceptions.
( II ) Dismissal/rules
- 47 & KungLao remove individuals from the guild executively. Each case is evaluated based on the player, what they bring to the guild and the situation.
- only a [shaolin] ranked player may request a player to be removed to KungLao or 47 -- and these requests will be approved nearly 100% of the time.
Major Offenses
- Not wearing tags in guild server.
- Hateful speach to guild members.
- Only [shaolin] ranked may teach people outside the temple, for anyone else it is a major offense.
-Public Infighting
MINOR OFFENSES
- Spamming in other servers
- Trash talking non guild members -- but only if you CAN'T back it up
- Brag (to guild members) / Complain or Excuse Make
- If using an alias, or a name not affliated with the Shaolin Guild tags, it CANNOT be the name you use in the Shaolin guild -- also, name duping is discouraged.
-If you have rcon access, you are not allowed to give it to anyone ever, for any reason -- no matter the rank.
( III ) RANK PLACEMENT
- Ranking is skill based. Thus, the testing system is designed to maintain the integrity of the guild.
- The disciple level requires no test.
- The monk test ensures the player can deliver defeating blows to Shaolin ranked players, or contest with other Monk ranked players.
- The shaolin rank test ensures integrity of the guild by testing high level combat abilties under pressure, in a way that ensures the Shaolin rank will only grow in skill.
( a) The Shaolin Test - The shaolin test requires that an individual defeat two different Shaolin players, first to 3, in the same day.
( B) The Monk Test - There are a few paths to Monk. To enter as a Monk, you must defeat the Monk class leader first to 3. To be promoted to a Monk, you must defeat a Monk of a Shaolink rank's chosing first to 3. Or, beat a Shaolin 1 out of 3.
Ranking Rules
- A rank is a priviledge, and tests must be given by permission. However, you may ASK.
- If you fail a test, there is a cool down time of 14 days before you can retry.
- A 2/3 majorty vote from the [shaolin] class can revoke any Monk test.
